Why not come and join us on this lovely flat field overlooking

The Reservoir.

A great number of   Club members have joined us here over the last 3 years and  many were so impressed with the site that they promised to join us  again in 2008.

The  site is immediately adjacent to the perimeter cycle/footpath that will take you around the reservoir.

Lyndon Top Nature reserve is immediately adjacent to the site and Anglia Water’s Bird Watching Centre, with it’s breeding ospreys, is close by. Trout fishing, cruises around the reservoir on the “Rutland Belle” and other water sports are easily accessible. There is an adjacent 18 hole golf course open visitors. A little further afield is the late Geof Hamilton’s Barnsdale Gardens, Oakham with its castle, twice weekly market and two supermarkets . In the other direction is  Uppingham with its “Olde World” shops and school and a market on Fridays. Then there are the numerous lovely villages to explore. Directions: On A6003 Uppinghan to Oakham Road turn SP Manton and Edith Weston. At 1 mile after Manton village turn left SP Lyndon Nature Reserve. Site entrance on right opposite first house. Follow NHDA signs. For those of you who use a Satnav the site itself doesn’t have a postcode but the code for the adjacent golf course is LE15 8HB.  Fee 6.00 per unit night.

If you require further details send SAE to Mr Pat Coaley, 7 Brackenborough, Brixworth, Northampton, NN6 9HX or ring 01604 881036 if you have a query.
